My game never stop crashing to the computer's screen

    My plugin folder size is 436 MB, the RAM is 2 GB, hard disk is 144 GB, memory for my account in the computer is  2 GB, processor is Genuine Intel, and I am using Window xp home edition.

When I play the game, everything is fine until a few mintues later, my computer crashes to the screen.

    My computer used to have 171 infections and the infections was tracking cookies, spywares, keylogger,  trogan, and adware. I had to delete a trogan by myself by using the computer search engine and that trogan pretended to be one of Window's important files. McAfee virus scan never caught any of those infections until my dad installed Spyware doctor program onto my laptop. The Spyware doctor program detected and deleted all of the computer infections, but the crashing problem still continues. I can't even play Simcity 4 deluxe edition without being kicked off by my computer.

hmm i had the same problem but it was on my computer that has vista, is your processor duel-core?

I suggest two things:

1. After all that malware fixing, try a reinstall.
2. Set your virtual memory to 4GB.  See the pinned thread above.

Do you have SP2 installed?
