Region Problems

Hi, I'm criss, and I have a terrible problem that I dont know how to fix.

Every time a create a region or even in my old region all the city tiles are wrong. Every time I get into a city tile to play the height of the city is super high, like if it was a mountain, please, can anybody help me with this?

    Hi again, now I have a new problem, when I try to run 7trumpets's map of Los Angeles, for some reason I cant make the game to make it. I press the ctrl+alt+r and I choose the LA map, but for some reason it wont do anything, it wont create it, any help?? the config is ok I think, cause I downloaded the one thats available on the stex, help please, or give me an adress where I can find an accurate map of LA, thanx

    Check the grayscale to make sure it is a 8 bit, 256 color grayscale, and not a RGB. When you select the grayscale image after the key press make sure the name appears in the selection box below, if not you need to type the name in the box.

    I checked it, but for some reason it appears in the box but when I click on it, the game doesnt change, like if I wasnt pressing on it. Its weird, what's RGB? maybe there's something with it haha I really dont what that is, explanation please, thanx

    To do this, open the map in Paint.  If you get a color palette, it is RGB.  You will need to use the Save As feature to convert it to Grey-Scale 256 colors.

    I am not sure you can do this in paint.  If you need a free graphics editor, get the GIMP.  At least two downloads and installs to put this in.

    This very powerful editor is similar to Photo Shop but at a drastically smaller price.
