    @bbfan02: Thanks! I believe the majority of the buildings you posted were done by either Andreas or AndreasRoth. I think I may have downloaded them off of SC4devotion, but I could've downloaded them off of simtropolis too. He is a part of the SFBT team, which has some great European BATs. Search his name and you will find a jackpot. I honestly have no idea who did the blue buildings, but if you search either European or Polish, you may find them.

    @jjune4991: Thanks alot!

    @PhilsCafe: Thanks, I try! 4.gif

    @LEONARDO81: Thanks!

    Now, an new update!

    Orbe

    Current Population: ~19,000

    Orbe is a town to the east of Vallorbe, between Neuchatel and Lausanne. Like much of Switzerland, Orbe is known for its beautiful scenery, light industry (Swiss watches), and friendly French-speaking people.

    First, an overview of Orbe from west to east:

    @jjune4991: I appreciate the compliments. I'm about 25%-30% done. My map is 16x12, so you're seeing about a third of it right now.

    @TRNSTN: Thanks! That's what I'm going for!

    That's one impressive region view, great work. The buildings look wonderful together in the towns and cities too. Great job all round!

    Orbe looks nice. I also like the overview, looks like you've covered most of "La Romandie" already. I especially like the town-rural-town transitions.

    Thats a great regional view, and excellent cities too.

    Perhaps a little more greenery within the urban environments would be more pleasing to the eyes?

    @jacqulina: Thanks!

    @Mike the Mayor: I appreciate the compliments!

    @PhilsCafe: I didn't know the area was called that. Thanks for the info.

    @LEONARDO81: I know I need to get you all some good updates. It might take forever to do all the cities. I haven't worked on this in a couple of months, but I've completed many areas southeast of Lausanne.

    @Twenty20: Thanks!

    @etherian: Thanks, I know some more parks would be nice. Sometimes I get too obsessed with density rather than aesthetics.

    @Fresh Prince: LEONARDO81 got it right.

    @Mr. Beer: Thanks for the facts!

    @Voulpiotis: Thank you!

    I will hopefully get a new regional update very very soon. Right now I'm actually watching Euro 2008 and Switzerland is tied with Turkey. Hope the Swiss can pull it out! 4.gif

    @jjune4991: No, unfortunately nothing to do with soccer, just a broad regional update.

    Here is my region as of last night:

    As you might notice, alot of work has been done in the southern part east of Geneve.

    Hope you enjoyed! Hopefully I will have some more updates coming up soon. In the meantime, GO SWITZERLAND!

    @Madog: Thanks! I took great care to make them more realistic looking than your typical farm layout.

    @Fresh Prince: Thanks, overall population is 815,000 with only about 1/3 of the region completed.

    @jjune4991: Thanks, hopefully I can get some better updates soon with close-in photos.

    An interesting journal which i only just discovered. Where do I get the French estate from your first update?

    I hope you will do mountains at some point. Passing through Switzerland whether by car or by train is always amazing for a flatlander such as myself....you know you're in Switzerland when the road sign says 12% slope and the road just goes straight down for many kilometers 2.gif

    @LEONARDO81: Sorry, I don't know how to speak German. Basically, I just said I haven't worked on it much lately, but more updates are coming soon. Hope you understood that. 4.gif

    @uassigned: Thanks! I will have to try to find where that French estate came from, I don't quite remember. I think it might be agricultural, but I'm not sure. I think I got it off of sc4devotion. Mountains are definitely coming, I assure you!
