Introduction

You may have noticed that something has changed in the world since a few decades ago, and no its not that cool, flatscreen TV currently in your living room. Or at least…. Its not anymore. It is something that has invaded everyday life, and now, just about everything revolves around it.

Some of you may already know what it is…because it has infected your way of thinking. You just cant wait to get home and spend that time on that computer browsin’ the internet. The internet has grown to a point now, believe it or not, that it can promote your life and make you famous, or destroy it in seconds.

How you behave in this new world is becoming everything.

Don’t be left clueless.

There are many ways to converse with people on the internet… You can get a myspace page and try your luck there, or it’s possible you could find a web forum you enjoy and could set up roots there.

The main subject of this article is going to be about how to act on web forums; however I am positive that this will help you wherever you go in cyberspace.

Bla bla bla…

Netspeek, or a shortened way of normal speaking for the internet, is 4 sum ppl, a faster way 2 speak on the internet. This is an excellent and quick way to get your thoughts out. But does it make you look cool in the process?

I can tell you, that where I come from on the internet, people who use this form of communication are usually regarded as the youngsters of the community.

People who type in long, thought out sentences such as this are generally regarded as people who just might have a brain, and are listened to more.

However, don’t take my complete word for it. I have known some people to master the netspeek way of talking over the internet in such a way that it makes them seem smart, and mature, and have meaning behind that they say.

You must decide your own way of speaking… as the more time you spend on it, you develop your own way.

Plan your messages…..

Yes, just like you shouldn’t speak without thinking in real life, you shouldn’t type something without thinking on the internet aswell…. Especially since when you post something on the internet, it has the potential to be viewed by hundreds, if not thousands of people!

A few of my suggestions would be to read the message you want to reply to thoroughly. Look for any hidden meanings and such, and reply to parts of the message in each sentence….

Replying to the entire message at once is tough on a brain, as it’s hard to process that much information at once.

Interactions

You know…. Just like in real life you can read something on the internet that just makes you want to take your computer and throw it out the window. I can tell you now, don’t do it…. You’ll end up with a massive computer repair bill… but back on track.
