Hi, just purchased an used copy of SC4 Deluxe, and there is something the frustrates me in this game:  lots of repeated buidings all over the city. This really unpleases me. I'd like a game with the less possible repeated buildings, I mean, unique buildings.

So, I ask, is there some 3rd-party tool or something else that raises the number of different buildings concurrents in the game?

Also, I saw that City Life 2008 game has 360 unique buildings (which I think a fair low number). So, how much unique buildings there are in SC4 + RH in total?

Hi there!

To add more buildings, just search the STEX, and you will find a lot of custom content.

If your used copy you bought didn't come with official registration at the simcity web site (the one you get when you launch the web from the top icon on the region view page (before you go into a city), then you will not be able to get important files to make your game work properly.. Hope whoever you bought it from gave you that info.

Sim City has, I believe, over 500 buildings. At SC4 devotion there is something called the CAM which adds new huge buildings to the game. But just downloading buildings can help you. There is also a mod that reduces the appearance of Wren Insurance.
