Night Lights? What do I need?

I think I've patched my Sim City Deluxe, but not sure.

Which patch do I need to get this working?

As soon as I switch the time to night, the night lights should immediately come on right? Even if the game is paused? or do I need to ensure the lot has electricty and not abadoned and then unpause the game before I see the night lights of lots?

The BAT is not necessary. You just need the SKU update patch from simcity.com and SC4Update4BAT.exe available in simcity.com or go here.

To add to Gabry85's correct answer [you don't need gMax and the BAT], you can check the version of the Simcity 4.exe to see if the patch and update have installed. The SKU patch version will have a 638, after the SC4update4BAT it should read with a 640.

I don't believe the lights will come on while paused, and they sometimes take some game time days to show.
