Sky City was once a small town started by a person named Simm Masters. Upon discovery, many people have moved here to start businesses and live new lives. The population jumped from 100 people to a startling 63,000 people. People relied on a Fusion Power Plant, a Large Water Pump, and a Water Treatment Plant. The city had a variety of features, such as a baseball park (Angels Stadium), a good government, and a marina. As of the year 2000, Mayor Gomez had decided to add a casino which brought in trillions of dollars a month. The city has an incredible school district.

UPDATE 1:

The elevated rail is finally up and running. People have jobs driving trains. The MTA was glad to donate some of their extra trains, and we were able to get this screenshot:

In the foreground you see a major cinema, a House of Worship, and several other businesses. The economy here is excellent. Many residents have invested in the stock market.

Make sure you use jpgs and not pngs. Other than that, nice work. It could use some more custom content, but this actually looks pretty good for Maxis.

the custom things i used are the NYC Train Mod, the NAM, and the No Dilapidation Mod. Also, I used a water mod. Not much now that I look at it...

Viewing the images works with Firefox. What happens is that IExplorer views all but the PNGs.

simmaster07 - But you won't get many comments if you don't put them in jpgs because loads of users use explorer and will find it a bit cheeky to tell them to use a different browser just to view your Cj.

For the poll, I suggest upgrating all congested streets to roads and roads to one ways. And for expansion, use avenues and highways.

UPDATE 2:

People are flocking to the city to see baseball games. The Sky City Angels are today facing the New York Bankees. The Angels have won, yet again, and is on a 13 game winning streak.

Once again, the economy is excellent, but now business is booming everywhere. There have been no reports of bankruptcy. However, Wren Insurance has been aquired by Countrywide Insurance.

Hmmm... not bad. You do know that you can build roads and avenues though, right? And you can make streets/roads/avenues go under El rail. Just a thought...

UPDATE 3:

The city is being overtaken by the Sims. People can finally have good elections for mayor. It is 2020, and the population is about 175,000 people. Now, traffic is somewhat bad in places, but not bad enough for complaints. I've taken the poll into consideration. I will make streets roads or avenues. I might make an avenue a highway.
