Does a better computer render better?

When i see some things on the STEX, they look very nice at zoom 4 and zoom 5, but when i render my building looks blury at the closer zoom views. my computer is kind of old, does that make the renders it makes be lower quality (i always use high for the quaitly setting) than if it were renderd the same way on a better computer? 

If the above is not true, what could be the problemm i think it could be texture resolutionbut i am not sure.

No, an older computer will just render your BAT slower, but not worse in quality.

Maybe check the Export/Qaulity dropdown (by default it's High).

Textures may also play a role. Blurring settings and wrong resolution may also cause such effects. Textures' resolution must be some 10-25 pixels per meter (I mean Gmax "meters"). A lower resulution may cause a pixelated effect, while a higher a blurring effect. If your textures are too big (above 25 pixs/meter) you should scale them down yourself (using Photoshop or PaintShop Pro) and not rely on the gmax scaling, it produces awful results.
