Distressing.

Well, you play for quite a time, get nice skyscrapers on your city, very well, but then that very highest tower distress, holy *****, it looks so ugly and you wanted to take a picture of your city..

What could be done?

I'm looking for quite a time for a solution to the 'distress' problem, but I have found nothing. I wanted to know if there is a mod or even a cheat to make them disappear, - even if the building remains distressed, I just wanted to heal the visual effect - anyone knows anything about this?

There is a dilapidation mod, it keeps the building from looking bad.  It is in the Modds, and Downloads forum.

I feel your pain.

I have long hated the fact that a distressed building in SC4 takes on that appearance, i.e., dirty and no lights.  Frankly, I don't understand it.  In real life, if a building becomes distressed (not abandoned), the electricity doesn't suddenly stop flowing. Granted, maintenance and upkeep of the building may suffer but I doubt that it would take on the extreme look that SC4 uses for dilapidated structures.

As tungston suggests, try the dilapidation mod.
