SC4Tool help needed

I downloaded the SC4tool some time ago but I have been having this problem every time i try to run it. This error message came on:

Before anything else is said i have already downloaded and installed Microsoft .NET Frame v1.1 but am still unable to run it. Any ideas how can i solve this?.

I don't know if i mentioned this before but here are my specs:

Microsoft Windows XP

Intell core 2 duo processor

2 gigs of RAM

Rest i'm not sure.

I thought about replying when you first posted, but since I haven't had any trouble with any of the versions, so I am not much help. I don't understand the common language reference. What version of the Tool are you using. My version is 2.2.7, which I believe is the latest.

Did you install the SC4Tools after you installed the NETframework? I also have later version of NETframework, but that shouldn't make a difference.

I think there is a support topic for the tool, at least one that Andreas moderates, have you looked at it?

I don't think it is a specific forum for the tool, but in the modding forums, there should be a topic or two. Look for one that Andreas Roth moderates. He is involved with it's development.

Hmm okay then. I think i'll just post this in the modding open-discussion section then. hopefully Andreas himself or someone can help me with this.
