Tokomo

This is my first CJ! The only modd I may use is super demand and I try my best not to but i will for sure going use it when I build the bigger cities. I may usesome money cheats  to forfill bigger projects but I let you know. Im also going to use alot of Finnish names on buildings and locations!

This is a story about a Province called Tokomo built on a group of islands with vast areas of woods, small lakes, hills, plain fields, towns and big cities by the coast. In this first chapter I'm going to begin with the capital city and it's neigbouring cities. The Capital city is called New Harway and right beside it you can find Old Harwy tath's the old capital and north of them the smalltown called Harway peaks. The biggest cities are Tokomo, Atmontas and Will Hattan which are also the commercial centers of my region, all three of them are situated beside the Harway area and the capital. Together the Harway area, Tokomo, Atmontas and Will Hattan forms the biggest metro area in this region. Now I'm going to show you some early stage pics of the Capital New Harway.

This is the becoming downtown. Future plans are to build som canals, roads and add a skyline. You can allready see important buildings like the Rautatieasema (central railway station), Tokomon Eduskuntatalo (House of Pairlament for the province of Tokomo) to the left. Rautatientori ja keskustori (The railway- and the central square), New Harwayn uusi yliopisto (The new New Harway University)and some of the cities shopping quarters. And the Ortodox red brick church crowning it all.

The residential area called Tammikoski (Oakstream) houseing 15 000 sims with landmarks like Tammitornin sairaala (Oaktower hospital) and New Harwayn kirjasto (liberary) as a centerpiece.

Kauppahalli (the Market hall) to right and the area meant for Tammikoski residential towers to the left .

This is my first update I'm showing you the progress thats been made since I began this Cj . The downtown of New Harway has got some more character and a higher profile also the residential areas has got  a touch. The new canals still needs some work  and also the park side . I'm going to try to make the parks as natural as possible. Population now 50 000.

Next I'm going to show some overview pics of New Harway and in my next update I'll take some closeups of the city and tell some backgrounds.

    newharway22dec191192646kb3.jpg

These are some pics of the skyline as you can see the canals are the same narrow ones so they still need some work. The downtown has changed alot since last time but i think it's still needs some more residential houseing.

    newharway22dec191192646qt8.jpg

The residential development by the coastline has been fast. The coast is very attractive and is lureing more an more pepole to move into town.

Feedback to the readers: Thanks to everyone for commenting.

LilFlipper: I was inspierd by Amsterdam and Helsinki. I've used alot of german bats because they resembels alot of the ones found in Helsinki. The judgen style is very common in both Helsinki and Amsterdam and also in Germany but it can be very diffrent between each city.
