I think this may be a good topic thread for any ideas dealing with utilities.

What if any or how do you feel and ideas regarding the issue of but not limited to:  Electric, Trash, Sewers, Water, Drainage etc. can be listed here.

For me and i know many of you were not crazy about sewer lines in SC4 but i like the idea running my own lines especially when opening a new area for development. I would also like water lines or have these packaged together (electric, sewer & water) as an underground utility once the power and treatment plants are built.

I have other ideas on utilities as well and will add to it but my time is limited this morning.

I think it should be seperated into a few different groups, such as POWER, WATER, SEWAGE, and TRASH. And maybe (I know, it probably sounds like a utopian thought) the city could be charged with gas import and so the Mayor could push for usage of trains. And as I said in the Global Issue/Time forum, perhaps a global issue like raising gas prices could push the city into mass transiting.

yeah good idea with the sweage - that would be cool, definetly nothing Maxis never attempted with SC
