I was so exited about my latest city growing all those sky scrapers after downloading some cool buildings until I realized that my growing residential neighborhood started to look like a scared cat. I noticed this was due in part to huge buildings that only took up 2x2 tiles. A hundred story building 2x2 tiles wide?????? They look nice on the STEX and in pictures alone, but when they accumulate they just look like spikes and my city looks like a porcupine. i see many pics of other peoples cities that strike me the same way. Tall sky scrapers should have a minimum base and buildings should have a standard so that a bus stop isn't as big as a house or seen from region view. This is just an observation of mine. thanks for listening.

Hm.. i like the proportion of small one-family houses in SC but i agree that skyscrapers should be larger.

The size of one-family houses in City Life was way to huge.

Scaling is my biggest pet peeve... some buildings like airports, malls, and stadiums take up lots of room... houses typically take up much less room.

I don't expect the cities to be perfect when it comes to scale, but I just want it as close as possible.

I hope they use 1m, 5m or 10m units instead of 16m unit tiles in SC4 for a variety of reasons.
