GLR station traffic

I have noticed that some of my GLR stations generate more trams than others do even though the passenger traffic statistic is at nearly the same level.  For example, the usage for a free standing Dentai station is given at about 3000 users andthere are about ten or so trams a minute leaving the station.  If I look at an in avenue GLR station with a similar usage of about 3000, there are hardly any trams being generated.

First of all, I am assuming that something in the station set up causes the tram to be generated.  If thats the case how can I adjust the setting to show more trams?

The number of trams that show up depends on the actual usage. The GLR-in-Avenue tram stations that I modded have a built-in bus station, so the capacity of 3000 is divided between bus and tram traffic. As a result, less trams are showing up. Also, the number of trams depends on the in-game time. SC4 will create more trams during the rush hour, and at night, you'll hardly see any of them, just like in real life.

This is great 'n all, but how 'bout explainin' the fact that some of the multi-engine trams (and trains) are so freakin' LOOOOONG! I mean, what's with all the trams bein' like.....stretched a whole street like, 15 cars long? Is that somethin' hidden, a mod, what? Ya already mentioned the number of trams, so I wanted to ask 'bout the number of tram CARS. I figured I should ask that here, since this thread is all 'bout GLR traffic, so....whatcha think?

I understand what you mean about the time of day and the combination of bus and GLR traffic raising the numbers of users.  But the trams that are visible seem to vary based on the station used.  Some stations generate more traffic than others.  If I bulldoze the station and use another, the traffic changes up or down depending on what I change to.  Is there something in the mod program that determines how many trams are generated?  If so, how can I access the programming?
