Is it possible to totally take out dirty industry in a city? I mean, when it gets large enough, do I just slowly start replacing industry with commercial/residential? This is kind of a weird question but it's hard to explain. Anybody who understands please share your advie. 9.gif

If you are talking about "dirty industrial" specifically, then yes.  If you are talking about Industrial in general, you can if you have a neighboring city with industrial.  Industrial provides a lot of the jobs for a city.

When I start a city, I set the "Dirty" industrial taxes to 20% to keep it from developing.
