Problem with Zero Occupancy building

sorry if i've posted in wrong place..

i'm having a problem with zero occupancy building / zero available work for commercial building(dirty look building).what should i do with them?do i have to check & demolish em all one by one?..ain't it to much for 500k population?

i'm new in this Simcity business..help me plz..

Welcome to Simtropolis and SC4! I think what you mean is abandonment (buildings that have become darkened). It means that either residents have no job, less desirability, or taxes that are too high and have abandoned, or that the area has become less desirable for commercial buildings. For abandoned residential, add more jobs or reduce taxes to encourage people to move back in. For commercial, add parks and keep demands high (by looking at the demand graph).

copy that...maybe i got problem with long commute..my RCI demand quite high though and i reduce both resident and commercial tax to 5.5%..do i have to demolish those building or leave it and work with civic service?..

If you correct the situation that caused the abandonment, then the buildings will repopulate.
