Ah, competition is the spice of life.  That's a terrific menu.

Instead of trying to pronounce some of this Magyar stuff, I am going to order by number, if you please.  May I have:

    No. 1 soup.  Sounds great.

No 11 main course.  Sounds fantastic.

No 15 dessert.  Sounds very like palatchenko with the usual Magyar garnishes.  Mmmmm.

Turkish coffee and the 1994 Tokaji if you please.  (Tokay for you people with literacy problems)

Come see us at the Moose Factory.  Its on the house.

Um, since I don't eat birds except for chicken and turkey, I'll just take two bottles of wine please. It's the only way I'll ever ask someone out: I either get them drunk, myself drunk, or some odd combo of the two. Oh, that will be to-go please.

SWAT-MEDIC: Of course you can. Your Gulyás is served. Enjoy it. Thanks for dropping by.

N_O_Body: Thanks for dropping by. I will surely stop by at The Moose Factory. But you have a great appetite there. Everything served. And that's why I numbered the food, so that it's easyer to order. I should add more kind of vine's to the menu. Enjoy your 3 course, the coffe, and the vine. It's on the house.

DioAngel: Great to have you here dropping by. Great selection, which is served. BTW you've got a great CJ going there.

topcliff: Okay, i packed you 2 bottles of 1993 Tokaji Aszú. Enjoy it.

jacqulina: It's great to have you here. I hope you'll try some of our foods next time. But until then your coffee is served.

And i will surely stop by sometime now at your Cabin. It's on the house.

abvcs: I'll ask, first if i can call you Craig. So 1 Erdökerülö, 1 Eszterházy, and one strong, sweet, hot and black coffee is served. And of course, the other two coffe is also on the way. Thanks for the tip.

jacqulina: One strong, sweet, hot and black coffe for you, paid by Craig. Enjoy it.

Schulmanator: I'm very delighted to see you here. About the order, it will make a long and big bill 9.gif But don't worry. Thanks to Schulmania, the first order for you is free. But it's a little too much, i think, so if you need it, I'll rap it up for you to-go. Enjoy your meal, which is served.

Insane Child of Bodom: Thanks for coming to us. The same for you. If it's too much, i can rap it up for you to-go. The meals are served. Enjoy it.

DioAngel: Your one strong, sweet, hot and black coffee from Craig is served. Enjoy it. And stop by at us.

And for everyone: thanks for visiting this place. If this keeps up, i'll be able to make more services in the restaurant.

EDIT: And I'm very curious about what would you like to have in this place, as an upgrade.

The meal was excellent.  I saw you over in the Factory, and you are doubly welcome there.  I must say that a fine European (Magyar, may I say?) Restaurant certainly complements our other plain Jane cuisines.

I have tried, on occasion, to give good solid menus, but since the autosystem went into full operation, the culinary imagination has been limited by the experience of the clientele.  Oh, well, as long as they are satisfied.  *sigh*.

To night's menu at the Factory is very pedestrian and aimed at students just finishing the first week of school or at at the end of Frosh Week.

I must say, this place is delightful.

N_O_Body: Glad you enjoyed our meals. I tried to bring in a new kind of premises. But as I look over the menu, i see they're good, hungarian, but special food (even special here in Hungary), and didn't include such simple things as Lecs

Well I am hungary...  sorry .. that was a bad joke but someone had to make it so it may as well be me...

Now let me see the number 11 was delicious so I will skip up one to 10 and try the other venison dish..

...and another of those excellent coffees - strong, sweet and black - wonderful!

...but no dessert - my love handles need to be kept in check.

Hmmmmm an upgrade...  how about some Hungarian music - live of course ... do you know a good band?

Edit:  OK I found these guys would they be OK?  They have a busy schedule but I have secured them  to play here at Hussar...

    East Meets West Trad Concert

The headline act  will be Sondorgo one of the most popular bands ever to emerge from Hungry. The band, which was formed in 1995, has travelled extensively and has performed in many of Europe's most acclaimed festivals and music halls.

The band itself consists of five young musicians who have been inspirational in the development of folk music in their native land and beyond. Their love of folk music is inspired on one hand by family and cultural traditions and on the other by great Hungarian music researchers, like - Bartk, Bla and Vujicsics, Tihamr.

    sondorgo.jpg

Within their repertoire lies a never-ending pool of Serbian, Croatian, Macedon and Balkan folk music. As a proof of their success and talent, they won a Folk Music contest on Hungarian Radio in the year 2000. The band also organises the annual Sndrgo Festival, in their home town of Szentendre, which goes from strength to strength as each year goes by.

abvcs: Good to see you. Ohh, a band from Szentendre. I lived there for 6 years. Erm about the band, it's okay. But only for Saturday and Sunday. That's all I can pay for. Thanks for the idea, i'll call them.

Venison dish with Tarhonya, with a good coffee, served. Enjoy our meal.

DioAngel: Grilled turkey breast wit a soda, served. Enjoy.
