Plugin help please

I was wondering how to take the .sc4 files and turn them into .dat files cause none of the plugins I have downloaded so far work right. Like hte Pallet Company one for example.

If they don't work now, they won't work as dat files. What seems to be the problem with them?

Well I put them in the plugin folder in their own little subfolder and then boot the game up and they aren't in any of the lists. At all. Not sure if I am doing it wrong or they just don't work.

The Pallet company works fine. It is listed as a growable in the disccription. That means it does not show up in any of the menues and is placed in the game when you zone an area and if you are lucky it will show up at some point when conditions are right for the game to allow it to grow. So when you are looking at an item and in the description it says it is a growable only remember that it is not going to be available for ploping from a menue.

Oh oh okay, so, that is great to know, te stuf labeled no expansion required, does that mean that it works for RH as well? Also how do I add a region map downloaded to be able to use it in game? Having touble figuring that one out, a newb proof toturial would be awesome please.

If you are extracting them into the "My Documents\Simcity 4\Plugins" folder, or a subfolder, then they should work properly.
