Not necessarily. His avatar is an old video game character named Dirk the Daring. It's not a stretch to say that's where he got his username from.

Actually, his username apparently comes from some imaginary superhero character he thought up as a kid named "Dirk Dashing".

And his real name is apparenlty Edited to help Dirk keep his privacy MrC ".

Funny how we all usually assume usernames more often than not refer to the user's real name. For all you know my name could be Andrew, not Zane!
