Rush Hour Expansion Not Functioning right

I recently installed the Rush Hour Expansion. I had a graphics rules.sgr problem but that has been taken care of. Now every time i try to place a Rush Hour Expansion thing (One Way St, EL tracks, ect.) nothing happens when i try to place it. Sometimes when i click for EL track it gives me subway track or when i click ground highway i get elevated, or nothing happens. 

Is there a patch i can install or an easy fix.

Tell me if your disc is just an orange colour

if it is then you'll have only one choice= buy a copy of the game that is in a thicker case and has a picture of the cover on the disc. All the files on the orange ones are corrupt.

No the disk has Sim City 4 Rish Hour Expansion with the cover picture on it and everything

Have you looked at this thread?  Maybe your computer's not up to speed or, for that matter, over speed.  Have fun, and welcome to ST!

The biggest problem with Rush Hour is having a version incompatible with your SC4 version. Both must be from the same region. Otherwise, strange bugs occur in the game.

Thanx guys. My Sim City 4 is Taiwan i think, and my Rush Hour is US. Ill probobly just get Deluxe Soon.

sorry but the whole colour thing worked for me when I had the problem

i had the same problem but then i fixed it but when i started to play it another problem appeared. when u start up the game it has my sims on the bottom of the screen and i cant remove it and then it crashes and goes to the desktop screen. can anybody help me?
