When I saw 'Pearl of the Oreint" in your sig...I knew I would see parts of the Philippines-makes me feel almost right back at home. I've only read up to pg. 7, and I love the CJ. Im sure all Filipinos know why there are slums about in so many places.

BTW, where'd you get the BATs...tell me...NOW!

    Island Hopping

    PearloftheOrient-Jun-2.jpg

Wala-Wala Island was recently included in the new "7 WONDERS OF HUMANITY." This little island has been around for more than 5000 years and the few remnants of native ancient tribes still live here. The native people living here are in dire condition. Outside help has tried desperately to send food, water and medical aid to these people. But due to native pride and culture shock; they have resisted outside help for centuries now. And so we wait...6.gif

HELLO ! As you guys probably noticed I havent been on ST for months now. I apologize for the lack of info/announcement. I've been extremely busy with school, RL, other hobbies. This current summer i'm planning on releasing pictures I never finished in this CJ. But im not sure whether or not I can still continue playing/developing the city at the same time. But if I don't continue then - THANK YOU to everyone who drop by & appreciated my little creation. 1.gif

    Rice Hacienda

    1Medium.jpg

    2Medium.jpg

Haciendas like these are now rare in the islands, but there are still a few that are owned by rich families who have owned the land for generations 1.gif

    Humble Port

    p1Medium.jpg

    p2Medium.jpg

The Siargao Port is the primary port of the Island. Global trade and competition has forced the government to draw up new plans for a more modern, and larger port. Lawmakers are debating whether or not to destroy the old port to make room for the new one or simply exapand the current one. Whatever the plans are, the new port must establish to ensure a more vibrant economy. 48.gif
