Welcome!

Global Warming has ravaged the island nations of the world. They have all been swallowed by the sea but one island remains, and

a new generation of motivated Sims will revive, rebuild and restore a glorious city along with its wealth, beauty & even its troubles hoping to regain the lost luster of the Pearl of the Orient - that is Manila. 39.gif

My goal for this CJ is to show the different scenes in the city! Its not designed to be realistic because it is based on my imagination. 37.gif Although it has strong influences from the real world city! I will update by posting a picture of my CJ & telling the story behind it or describing the image. Highschool is just around the corner so sometimes updates might be really slow. 31.gif

    Islander Pride

    isl.jpg

Islands around the region are inhabited by Native Island tribes who have for thousands of years kept their way of life. This picture shows the Kolai tribe along with the houses they have built on stilts and at the bottom part is a monument comemorating their existence & survival for thousands of years and it is of a pearl surrounded by leaves painted with white shades.

Awesome comeback! I can see why you restarted and I like the results. Good choice of terrain and water mods. They match perfectly.

    Keep it up, igan!

Nice job! I like those docks with the houses and 'stuff' on them.

Though I might just say, you may want to turn off the shadows because the whiteness under the docks detracts a tiny bit from the overall pic. (for me anyway) Just my 2 cents.

Overall though, great. Keep it up!

    A Warrior's Last Stand...

In this massive Tropical monument Lapu-Lapu a great Sim Island Warrior along with his fellow sims made their last stand against the overwhelming force of the Spanisims and won. To comemorate the victory the building was restored & is now a museum. Further down is the city's boardwalk where people can eat. play or simply watch the sunset.

The typical Middle Class communities that dominate the region. Safe, Affordable, & Comfortable are its 3 comodities. Sims live in these communities in harmony.

That pic is indeed very nice. I realised when I downloaded those cobb things that you can't "turn off the shadows". Sorry 'bout that...

Nice looking neighbourhood. Looks like another endorsement for Imaginary Manila.
