Not very amazing, but I've named it and everything XD  (His name is Sally)

I desperately want lens extensions...

(Mine is black)

It is a beast and it was free courtesy of the insurance company 3.gif

I love it and I especially love the popup flash, hours of fun.

Ive got a telephoto lens for it and I want to get a better macro lens but that might be a while off. Very good battery life but the picture quality can be a bit dodgy when image stabaliser is on. Im getting a 1gig XD card for it soon.

And, Brad, I think it's name is Alan

Brad: Jealous? That's not a bad camera you have there. But it does look like an extension would help.

Beebs: That may be so! Quite a sleek camera there.

GB: does that say 7.1 megapixels? If so that's gotta take some nice pictures!

I forgot to show you guys my old camera:

    That was pre-DiMage. 18.gif

I currently have a 1-gig card along with 64 and 16 backups (the 1-gig holds 650 pictures or something like that and the 64 and 16 together hold about 43 3.gif)

Mine is a Canon Powershot A630.

Like beebs' camera, it has an articulated screen that is awesome to say the least.  Zoom functions are so awesome that at over 1,000 feet, I can reach out and touch you. 3.gif  It has a good long battery life; a set of 4 batteries can take about 1,000 pictures or so on it.  I like my camera. 3.gif

Mine's a Nikon Coolpix L4. Nothing fancy, really. 4 Megapixel capability, but I have it set down to 2 since that means 1600x1200 which is already too big to fit on most computer screens at once... plus it saves on the filesize. I honestly can't fathom why anyone other than someone who's a professional or loves playing with Photoshop would want any more than 2 megapixels, frankly...

    And it's pronounced "nee-con", not "neye-con". Everyone's always getting it wrong. It's Japanese, people.49.gif

It's not space on the card I'm worried about, it's the space on my hard drive... which is already more than half full of all kinds of crap so space saving is helpful.

Me. Because I store everything on my hard drive. And because I can't upload pictures to the internet off the card unless I plug my camera into my computer and turn it on. Besides, I've already taken over twice as many pictures as my card could hold at once, so storing them all on the card isn't an option, anyway.

I have the same one as beebs and just love it. The optical zoom is particularly good, and one set of batteries usually lasts a week of intensive vacation picture taking. It also does pretty well in low light situations but I wish it had a flash shoe instead of just the built-in flash.

Canon Powershot SD600, I think it was the top selling camera of 2006 or something. It is small yet takes nice pictures. I used to have a Powershot A620, which took awesome pictures but was clunky. Its clunkiness was why it wasn't in my pocket which led to me forgetting it at a hotel. Whoops.

    I have a Olympus fe-230.

    olympusfe230uf4.jpg

It is 7.1 megapixels and extremely light weight! It's tiny, it fits in my pocket.

The only problem is that it takes huge pictures, 3072x2304 I believe. I got the camera because it has a macro feature and a super-macro feature. It's awesome 44.gif
