problems with downloading mods at simtroplis

hey everybody, im having problems that some of the people who try to download mods here at simtropolis. when i try to download certin mods for example Simoleon RH or Simoleon Modd it won't let me download it. what i mean by that is that when i click download nothing at all happens. the loading bar at the bottum of finishes with in not even a second and this is right after i click the download buttom of my Windows internet explorer screen.

what do i do?? is it my internet program, the sitropolis website or it my internet connection or my computer??

I have heard some members say they have trouble with the firewall. You might try disabling it for the download.

but i need to know how do you turn for the firewall??

could you give some tips on how to get there and how to turnit off??

It depends on the OS, and/or the 3rd party software. Ususally with Windows, go to the Security Center. 3rd party software might call it the Protection Center, or something simular.
