Well in that case, St. Helena can provide connections to all of the US with its ENOURMOUS airport!!! I'll try to get an airport update soon; its just really hard making the taxiways and aprons and wats even the sufficent length of the runways???

wow! great citybuilding mr hawky, your city is really looking good, and that transit map as well.

I dont know much about airports, but I do know Claridad is too poor/lazy/backward to have one. Well, they do have one, but it's just the firefighter variety 3.gif

Wait, have you updated Saint Twiggy yet? I don't want to miss that! 4.gif

    Update 7

    Tower Proposal

The new Mackinac Tower will be the tallest structure in the Republic of Mackinac and 2nd tallest in North America. The Tower will stand 1,900ft tall, taller than the CN Tower in Toronto but 100ft shorter than the Chicago Spire in Chicago, Illinois.

    Renderings

    CN2.jpg

    CN1.jpg

The City Council has approved the tower and it should start construction in 5 months.

i do like the tower though i think it looks kinda akward or errrr clumsy where you placed it on the point...i think it would look better blended in with the CBD instead of off on its own, but your a good city builder and i suppose you got some kind of trick up your sleeve 4.gif

you know, this city really reminds me of...Toronto, on the great lakes, big but not that big downtown, airport just off shore from the skyline and...the CN tower 3.gif

    great work! 17.gif

To be honest there a few things I don't like here. I think the city overall is too blank. There is too much empty unused or undecorated space for my taste. Also I don't see the need for a 5 tile wide rail line. Maybe if it was a 3 tile sunken rail would it seem better. It also makes each road crossing a driver's nightmare. Making most crossings road overpasses would look better. When I say there should be more deco I don't necessarely mean anything complicated. What you have done with the trees is a good example of simple yet effective deco. Your transportation network seem overall very well planned, I just think they should be integrated better in the cityscape. Right now they take all the space. Keep up the work. The general shape of the region is very good.
