Airport Tutorial?

I'm planning on building an airport, but frankly don't know how to get everything working. And I can't seem to find an airport tutorial so couldn't someone make one?

I'm working too for planning a nice airport, although not completely with SimCity 4.

Do you want to build an aesthetical-looking and realistic airport or do you need to know how the STEX tools work?

My main concern is these STEX-tools. I can't seem to understand how everything works, what I need to download and stuff. And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one trying to work this out and I've seen tons of pictures of beautiful custom airports, but no tutorial yet.

The RMIP series on the STEX have readme files attached. In the game read the descriptions for each piece. Make some experiment plopping them in a blank city.

Personally, I learned a lot by taking a look to real airports with Google Earth and saw how they work. The team made a wonderful work and I was impressed how much the pieces were so realistic!

If you were missed some dependencies try to use the STEX Search Tool and write "airport" or "voltaire".
