Plz help with big buildings

I build citys, and they always end up being really good, land values are high as they can be, mayor rating is surplus, everything is waterd and powerd, they all have jobs, they have a good commute, barely any pollution, good recreation, etc, BUT I never get big skyscraper apartments, the best I ever get are just plain apartments that only hold like 35 people, and i want my city to have a lot more people in it, so please give some advice on how to get the huge buildings (and commercial too)

Hello, and welcome to ST.Education and health are major factors. If your mayor rating is really that high, then that should be covered. Hmm...the only thing I can think of is maybe you don't have the population to support skyscrapers and high-rises? This is a quote from the official Sim City.ea.com:

"For example, to get the tallest residential buildings, your city must have a population greater than 30 thousand. Likewise, to get commercial office high-rises, your city must have more than 45 thousand commercial jobs."
