In this CJ, we will be following the Tidewater Region as it develops several cities.

I can't really tell you how many mods I used, since I must have over 1,500 files in my plugin folder. However, no money lots were used and I won't use cheats either.

(The images on this CJ will be in Portable Network Graphic (PNG) format. Internet Explorer may have some trouble with transparency in those formats.)

Pictures! Where are they? Well, to start, I'll let you gawk at a region shot. The region was completely made with the built-in God Mode tools. (My Landscape Designer is botched anyhow 2.gif)

(Big images; almost 700 KB)

Stand by for updates and the first developments in this beautiful landscape...

Here's a small update...

We will be visiting Keider Heights, a small town that sprung up near the Tidewater River mouth.

The local population seems to have gone with eco-friendly energy, though at the expense of many amenities...

The residential district...

And a new area about to be cleared for more development.

That's it for now, but don't forget to check for updates...

Great job with your terraforming! Lots of open space, but will it stay that way? 42.gif Looking forward to seeing more!

10 thumbs up44.gif, I think it looks very nice, and your region is very perdy.

Hey again, and thanks for all the comments 31.gif I didn't expect so many of them to be honest 1.gif.

aasim45, Cjah, screamomatic, jacqulina: Thanks!

lookinin, Fairlane500: It might be small now, but you'll have to wait to see how much it grows 19.gif.

1234: I believe they're CycleDogg's God Mode trees. Search on the STEX for CDT.

And now, for a small update on Keider Heights.

Seems like some farms have sprung up around the borders of Keider Heights.

keider_5.png

The center of the town keeps developing, and there are over 500 sims already living here.

keider_6.png

Unfortunately, dirty industry has also grown west of the center. Some sims worry that on windy days the air in town might become too polluted to breathe.

That's it for now, don't forget to check back for updates as always 1.gif. (And sorry for the slight smiley overuse.)

Nice Progress you have done on your CJ. Though I kind of think that the one-way road in the second picture is quite unnecessary. (and problematic for a few sims who may wan't to go the opposite direction)

I didn't mean it in a bad way - I love rural CJ's, and was wondering if this would be one since the solar power seems to contrast a bit from the farms. In either case, looks really nice, keep up the great work! 44.gif

When SC4 came out, dense cities were popular. Now it seems like if you have a city with over 50,000 sims, it is not beautiful. These rural towns are cool! 10.gif
