MP3 Music

Hiya

Can someone help, i've put my mp3 music in the correct folder within the program files, but my music still wont play through simcity.  Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

On the audio options, you have to click on the custom tunes check box

Just in case Shadow_prophet's suggestion doesn't do it, here's another suggestion...

After converting my favorite tunes to mp3 and putting them in the correct folders, I couldn't get my music to play either. For the longest time I just gave up on it. But then I noticed that the bit rates for the Maxis music files was 128 kb/s. Checking my own files, I found out that the program I used for converting my files defaulted to 96 kb/s. After re-converting my music to 128, everything worked great. I don't know if this is the general rule (I've never seen it anywhere), but it was what I had to do with my system. Hope you get (got) yours working.

i need help but its diffrent then this guys i have no music folder or any thing just http catch, plugins,regions,and sim city 4 cfg can some one help plz

What version of the game are you using?  Don't hold me to this, but I think you need Rush Hour/Deluxe version for custom music.

If not, the the mp3 files go in the "C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Radio\Stations\Mayor\Music" folder, or *Region\music folder.
