Clone my SIMCITY4 RH Installation

Help! I bought a new laptop and want to transfer my simcity4 with rush hour and about 3gb in plugins to my new computer as if i installed it all on the new one. is this possible? await any possible help

Transferring the plugins is easy, just copy them to your new computer. You could use a USB flash drive, a DVD RW disc, or just physically connect your laptop to your other computer using an Ethernet Transfer Cable.

But in order to move your SC4 installation, you will need to reinstall the game from the discs on your new computer.

Once you have installed the CD's, then you can copy [overwrite] the program files on the new computer.  That way you won't have to go through all the update steps.

As Prince of sims stated, you can just copy the my documents folders to the new computer.

thanks to both posters. have copied all the plugins and basically extracted bit by bit the simcity from the old computer to the new one running the sc4 updates before installing rush hour and then running the sc4 rush hour updates and everything works well barring a coupling of plugins which is no issue.
