PLOP MOD FINAL PROBLEM

when ever i prop residential lots they always seem to have the no job zone thingys. i make plenty of commercial props and bussiness. right near them, but they always seem to have no jobs???

can anyone please help me.

This a problem with residential plops. There is a way I've gotten them to work, but the method doesn't seem to work for everybody. My advice: Just don't use residential plops.

The way I got them to work is by zoning a little residential and letting it develop. Then, without demolishing the development, I plopped a residential building over it.

In my experiments, the game seems to have pathfinding trouble with residential plops. The sims can't get out of the buildings for some reason. But once the paths are established, a residential plop seems to work fine.
