missing trees in region view

i have an odd problem... it doesn't affect gameplay, but it's a little annoying...

whenever I add trees to a city and I exit to the region view, i don't see any trees in the region view... i see my city, roads, etc... but no trees. anyone else have this problem?

i'm using the mac version + rush hour - i've installed all patches from aspyr's site and the ones they sent me regarding my graphics card...

I have a similar problem when I terraform before starting a city. I seed forests, and when I establish the city, huge chunks of trees disappear, usually in wide, straight lines.

hmmm... i actually have that problem too... i think it's a known bug in the mac version...

i went through and removed all the mods from my plugins folder, and i still have the the no trees in region view problem. anyone know what's going on? do i need to change graphics settings? i think it may have happened after the second aspyr update to SC... as i said before, it doesn't effect gameplay, but my region views don't look as pretty.
