SimCity 4 not loading

So, after I installed the original SimCity 4, and tried to load it, but, the game didn't load. I pressed Ctrl-Alt-Del and watched the processes list, when I loaded the SimCity4.exe file in Apps folder. The application appeared in the list for the second, and disappeared. Reboot of computer didn't help. Have anybody watched that problem? I think it's time to reinstall Windows...

could be driver related, make sure u have the latest drivers for your hardware. also patch the game at www.simcity.com if u haven't already, but u must be product registered for it to work.

If you have a firewall, turn it off just long enough to see if the game will start.

Nope, i switched off windows firewall and my antivirus, but it didn't works.

First thing, have you installed the game update?

Try starting the game from the SimCity 4.exe file in the Program Files, instead of a shortcut. Do you have anything set to run the game in a different mode, i.e., compatability, or affinity, etc.
