Please heeelp. 2 random questions. I

I have 2 problems that r driving me crazy (Im a begginer, so the questions may be sound somewhat plain):

1) I cannot use the Ctrl, Alt or Shift keys for adjusting tile size of tiles or auto-roads. I select the zoning icon, I press any of those keys as I zone and nothing happens (it zones automatically with roads and I cannot change the size of the tiles). What am I donig wrong or not doing????

2) the "Moolah" cheat isn´t working. The "weaknesspays" cheat works perfectly but it will take some time to get the $50000000 I want. I enter the console with Ctrl-X, type in "Moolah 50000000", press anter and nothing happens (the console doesn´t even shut). aaaaaaah.

Can it be that I have a version in spanish????

Please help me before I flamethrow mi computer.

1) Make sure you're holding down the CTRL, ALT, and/or SHIFT keys while zoning, not simply pressing and releasing. Beyond this, I cannot imagine why it wouldn't work.

2) Check the SC4 Extra Cheats dll. The Moolah cheat doesn't work without the add-on dll. There were also a lot of issues i.e. some people having trouble with it for various reasons, though it seems to work without any issues for most folks (including myself). If you don't have that dll, get it. If you already do have it, and Moolah still doesn't work - read through that thread, the answer is probably in it somewhere.

I seriously doubt either of the above problems has anything to do with specific regional releases of the game though. Maybe 2 but even that one, I highly doubt it matters which regional version you have.

And if you do end up flamethrowing your computer, please please post a video of it for us on YouTube.

that coule be one, also make sure you're not dragging the zones across streets, roads, ect. that has a tendency to take your money but give you no zones.

It's been a long long time since I played SC4 vanilla, so I could be completely wrong here, but...

1) I think only SHIFT worked before, RH added the CTRL and ALT functions. At least this is what I remember.

2) Almost certainly, pretty much every add-on, plug-in, etc... released in the past couple of years are dependent on Rush Hour/Deluxe

3) Even without adding any custom stuff from here or elsewhere, the Rush Hour expansion is worth its weight in gold, adding many transit types, civic buildings, and other features. It's a must-have. p.s. "Deluxe" is merely the original SC4 plus the Rush Hour expansion rolled into a single package, so if you have SC4 vanilla all you need is the Rush Hour expansion. Might not be easy to find though, since anyone buying it "brand new" would be advised to just get the Deluxe edition, so the RH add-on pack is rare to find now. Might be easier and better off to just buy the Deluxe edition anyway, but you'd have to uninstall your existing plain SC4 before installing Deluxe.

3.5) Be sure to register on the official site and apply the prerequisite patches as well. This might also be part of the problems, as the extra cheats dll (I'm pretty sure) was based on the officially-patched SC4 Deluxe.
