Completely Random Crashes?

Well about a month ago I transfered SC4 from an old hard drive to a new one along with all of my plugins, and I noticed something strange, with my cities I created on my old computer (hard drive) the game randomely crashes back to the desktop with no warning.  Now I've had some lots crash my game before, but this time it seems to happen for no apparent reason.  One time I layed some new highway which caused it to crash, and then when I reloaded the city later, I repeated the exact same thing again and nothing happened.  I'm not sure what is causing this, but it dosen't seem to effect any of my new cities thankfully.  Anyone have any ideas as to what is happening?

You say you transfered the game, did you reinstall the game, or just copy the folders?

^ Yep, I reinstalled everything including Rush Hour and the updates. I just transfered the regions and plugins folder over from the old hard drive. The only thing that could possible be causing problems is that I deleted some plugins to clear up my parks menue, but those lots were nothing major, and the game just tells me that they are missing when I open the city (though it never crashes then). It really seems to do it most frequently when I zoom in or out, or work with the transportation networks (as in the highway example I gave above). It seems likely that if nothing else, maybe the files became partially corrupted.

I'm getting the same problem. I'm running windows vista home premium. specs are Pentium D 3.0Ghz, 1GB DDR2 RAM, Onboard everything.

When I first got this computer, I was running sc4 fine and it didn't crash that often. Now it crashes randomly for no apparent reason. The screen

goes black for a sec. and then I'm back to the desktop. I tried putting my VM up to 4 GB, didn't do anything. I also tried going in the processes and

changing priority and affinity, and didn't work. What can I do to get this to work?
