Mega city with only high tech industry

Is it possible to build a mega city...eg 300+ with only high tech industry. Map size medium.

yer i suppose.i find that if i make a large R$ & Ind$ city with 200K people when i start a new city in the same region the demands for high tech and R$$ R$$$ are alot higher. making it easyer for me to make a rich city ( R$$$ and ind-ht)

Just in a short awnser, yes. 300K people with all hi-tec industry on a medium sized map is quite possible

I have done 400,000 on a medium map with pockets of Hi-tec

I believe you'd have to get your entire region's education level to the point where they can work there, too.

No.... I often force lower classes to work at high wealth buildings.... causes no problems

The thing about that is your buildings will be grainy and you will never 100% occupy the building. It's also a false economy. Even though no problems appear to be present, your city would be more efficient if the workers worked at the correct level.
