UDI in SC4 and SCS

Do you think stuff like UDI will continue in SCS? It may or may not, considering that it's already all in 3d, so the idea of exploring your city with a plane is exactly the same. I was just curious to what the Simtropolis community thought about this and if they think/heard that SCS will have something similar.

oh, and one more thing, i had to ask, do you think that UDI was an attempt to show the world how Sim Copter and Streets of Sim City would've been like if they had the time(they were extremely rushed, and even back then, they had to meet deadlines. stupid executives.)? I'd like to think so. That's why i'm sorta half hoping that UDI will be in SCS, (i still might not buy it though)

i thought udi was a good idea, just badly made, i would love udi at ground level. or at many diffrent views, it was hard to do missions because cars appeared right on top of me all the time, and hard to feel the traffic of a normal city because cars would dissapear when you got close, with a few fixes udi could have been the next big thing, but in simcity societies it dosent look like they would have a airport/seaport, so far it olny looks like cars are there, and weve olny seen a limeted amount of cars, so they probaly wouldnt have enough opitions to it, alos take road textures into play, it could be to complicated

I think that I would like UDI in SCS if the game looked like it was going to have more variety. With only one size of street, driving around would get old quick for me. Being able to drive a boat in a city harbor, or fly a helicopter around, or speed down a freeway, along with driving on avenues and streets would be awsome in 3D, but SCS will only have those boring streets.

Why would they include UDI? the roads are square and it would be boring.

UDI in SCS would be great, if only it were an actual city simulator with something to drive on besides the stupid square 4lane road grid

I never ever used UDI. It was pointless, IMO. So many cars just spawn right in front of you or they veer straight into you when you use the horn or siren that I failed more times just from the car exploding than not doing the missions. On the totally non-relevant SC:S roads, there'd be even less point.

A 3-D UDI (think an actual simulator) would be downright cool. Fat chance of that.

Why do you think they would include UDI? SCS isnt a city simulation and its all about making your sims happy, not making you happy.
