Mod to stop ELEVATED RAIL from producing pollution

I was wondering if someone would please create a mod which stops elevated rail from producing pollution. EL rail seems to be the only mass transit which causes pollution - EL rail would normally run off electricity. How could it make pollution? 

If anyone can make this mod it MUST be compatible for both dragable EL rail AND the NAM EL rail over road/street puzzle pieces!!

The NAM's Traffic Exemplar already does this. If it doesn't, you can edit it yourself. Any changes made to the Elevated Rail entries in the Traffic Exemplar will affect the Elevated Rail, GLR, and any Elevated Rail over # Puzzle Pieces (# being a wildcard for any network below the puzzle pieces).
