This is my first time to the forums so I thought I'd show everyone here some of my work and get some feedback.

The City I built is called Prima and is simply put, just a huge city. This is the first city I made after buying SC4, and the goal here was to just make the biggest city possible. I built up on every bit of land available, then took the time to increase the quality of the life for the Sims by building more mass transportation, more hospitals, police stations, fire stations, and newer power plants. It's a city build using the Manhattan Effect by building hi-rise building where possible, even in the edges of the city.

Right now I'm working on another design which focuses more on quality of life rather than the size of the city. However, before I spend more time on that city, I thought I'd get some feedback on this current city and incorporate the opinons expressed into my new city.

Thanks,
Kinglin

*Sorry that you guys don't get to see my city 'grow' for I had just recently found this site, and by the time I did, my city was already built.*

This is the City of Prima. The biggest city I've made, yet the concept is one of the most simple. Here's the photos You guys are wanting. For this post I'll provide you guys with what construction I was able to find around the city.
*Last time I checked, there was just over 1.1 million Sims living in Prima.

Come on, Krio. Let's wait and see a bit more before any harsh judgement is laid. 3.gif It looks good so far! It'd be interesting to see some more detailed shots.

Once I figure out how to use get custom files like some of the users on here, I'll be able to make my city more unique. Is it rare to get a population of a city over 1million or is it easier than I think?

I noticed you have done 3 updates in the last 30 minutes, You should put it all into one update so it looks more organized. Make sure to turn off the mission indicators by going to the My Sims panel and clicking on the car, and clicking on 'Turn off mission indicators'. I noticed that you resized your picture using the Simtropolis feature, When uploading to photobucket/imageshack, Just check the box saying 'Resize to 800 x 600 Pixels, and the pictures will be fine 4.gif Some more custom content would be good because there is quite a bit of repetition in your cities, Just visit the STEX, If you need any help, Just ask, I'm sure there are people ready to help. Read some of the tutorials, check out Choco's guide [it is a stickie in this forum]. I look forward to seeing your progress. Edit: Also, You can use the 'edit' button on the bottom of your posts to fix them up and make them look nice or add information, like I just did. Cheers.

i like that last picture with the mayor statue. just one more suggestion, it is much more convenient if you post all of your pictures in one post because i commented like twice without seeing some of the pictures which i am liking much more as they come. good job once again!

well its...nice for a starter, i see what you mean about all the tall buildings, aghh so much maxis lol you have a nice transportation grid going for you though lots of lakes and ponds which is nice, and adds a little spice to everything...and to answer your question...in one city tile yes it is but in the region 1 million sims is not in fact is pretty easy, just takes some time i would guess..but a nice start

If you don't get custom content soon, espically seawalls, this CJ is doomed. And also try make bigger updates before you turn this to spam-festival.

This is 1.1 million sims in just one tile, not the region.

Sorry about it not being anything you guys haven't seen before. Before posting, I thought it was rare to get that many sims in one city 'tile'. Right now I'm learning how to use the simcity exchange to get custom files and get them to work in my game. I have stuff to attend to right now, however I'll be working on the city some more tonight and send you updates as they come in. Sorry to the people that were disappointed in my thread. Hopefully my newer photos have you change your mind about my thread.
