An Open Letter to EA

I'll sign... I have not said a word about it yet but i am very disapointed in scs, I have played simcity since the first one came out and loved all of them.

It seems like we have been waiting for the new simcity forever, and they give us this? This is not simcity so it should not be called simcity. i agree,

Change the name to simSocieties. There is so much i'd like to say about it, but its all been said already, No highways? No zoning? no rail? No terraforming? No everything... I still play SC4, A month after SCS and it will be like SCS what? I can play SC4 and make something different everytime.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying i wont like, or try SCS, It might be OK, but its not what i was expecting in SC5. Soooooooo Disapointed

This is my first post on this site but I am a long time fan of SimCity and this site. I have just finished writing a letter and getting ready to send it off. I have had some friends and family send letters as well.

im sorry but we would need more than a 1000 signatures, we need much more, ea cares about money, and a 1000 people couldnt make much diffrence in ea, since ea is greedy

For some of you guys that are saying "EA will never change the name to simsocieties the simcity name is too big" have any of you ever looked at the top seller lists of games in the past few months.. the SIMS is up there in like three seperate games. The SIMS name is just as popular or more popular than the SIMCITY name. Especially for who they are trying to attract. If anything a name change is beneficial to EA.

Ill sign too, i am yet another fan who has played since the first simcity and i love the current SC4, it has all the goods, but it could be improved, and should have been. But instead of being improved the developers have decided to slaughter a very successful and wonderful idea of a game and turn it into complete crap. I doubt very highly that i will try this game, and not because i'm opinionated. I have looked into sim city societies to see if MAYBE it was actually ok, but its not, its horrible. I do not want this game, or this direction. I will sign this with great joy.
