So iv heard people mention Torchwood

I know in Dr Who its the super secret

govt agency that shot down the alien ship.

But they mentioned it like it its own show?

Torchwood was started by Queen Victoria after the dr defeated the werewof in the episode Tooth and Claw in the second series. It was started to combat the alien threat on Earth. The queen told Lady Isobel Macleish That she was to set up an agency, it was called Torchwood after the mansion that the queen was attacked in the werewolf. Queen victoria knighted both Rose and the doctor then banished them. I dont think the Sycorax ship is mentioned in Torchwood. But then I dont htink the battle of canary wharf is I dont really know but if there is any Torchwood fans out there that can answer I would be more than happy to hear from you.

Ive seen all the torchwoods. The Cardiff torchwood captain jack works/ worked for is the 3rd Torchwood. There was one in scotland which was destroyed somehow, i forget. But the first torchwood is mentioned as being shut down after the battle of canary wharf. The series has a lot of episodes around the time rift the doctor refuels at, and jack repeatedly dies in this series. It takes him a lot longer though, after he kills this beast called Abidon. At the very end, you just see jack run out after you hear the TARDIS materialize, which was the moment at the start of "Utopia".

As far as I know the only monsters playing a role in both Dr Who and Torchwood were the Cybermen, with one of them and a converter being part of a Torchwood episode. So no Sycorax.

It started not long after it was mentioned in the 2nd series of Dr who

sarah jane is getting her own show too called the Sarah Jane adventures they have shown a piolet already I didnt mind it it was ok I reckon more for kids though ( under 10)

As for the talking rhions or Jidhoon they were a bit naff I must admit but apart from that I think series 3 has been the best yet of the new dr Who

anyone else heard the rumour freyma Agman ( Martha) has been sacked? I hope not shes quite a good assistant one of the better ones I have seen.

It is! no offence, but where I come from everybody hates it, nobody watches it and the only ones who do are single young attracive women who like David Tennant and some little sad kid or someone who's gay! Go ahead and watch it and all that, but loads of people where I come from have had enough of it!...People have different taste you see!

I do not subscribe to the SciFi channel (I have basic cable), and I depend on PBS to show me the episodes. We are currently in season 2. Just last night was part 1 of the episode about the Daleks hovering over Earth. Now I have to wait a week for the second part! =(

I was wrong earlier... we (meaning me, watching PBS, lol) only just finished Season 1. I do not know yet if Season 2 in planned for airing. Let's hope... I am enjoying this show...
