Medium Density Commercial Buildings All Messed Up

Howdy,

I recently reinstalled all my SimCity stuff and deleted all my old plugins, etc, because I bought the Volume 1 Simtropolis CD and I wanted to start over.  I haven't really done anything yet besides install SimCity 4 and Rush Hour and update them, plus the latest NAM.  I figured I'd play the game a bit just to see what it was like back in the day without all the fancy stuff we how now.  But for whatever reason, the graphics on medium sized commercial buildings are really messed up now.  I attached an image file as an example, but it's about seventy-five percent of lots that I've seen so far.  For whatever reason, instead of having the lot that supposed to be there, it picks another one and then randomly places it on the lot.  Some are even like diagonally shooting up in the air.  It's interesting, but not exactly how I want to play the game...

It changes at different zooms, the second closest one only has a couple problems but if I go out from there almost all of them are funky.  Any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried to update my graphics card, but for whatever reason it doesn't work.  My laptop is kind of old (2004) and I think that ATI forgot about my model 15.gif.  And the thing that bugs me about the problem is that the game has worked fine since 2004 and now it's suddenly not working.

Note: Now there's an image on the first post, I was unfamiliar with how you post images on posts on this forum.

Does it happen only with Commercial buildings, or it happens to residential buildings too?

After you did the update, did you remember to reset your graphics set up.  The update sets everything to low.
