I just installed SC4 on my new comp with Vista and it plays well but suddenly it will stop working and i would lose my whole city.  can Vista be the problem?

If you could provide more info on your system and the game that you have and stuff like that, then that would help us alot.

    The computer is a HP-Pavillian a6030n with Windows Vista Home Premium, 2GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE Graphics Card with 128MB memory dedicated and 271MB shared and im playing SC4 Deluxe edition

    There are a couple of things you can try.  With Vista, you have to remember that it is just NT6.0 while XP was NT5.1.  The differences are cosmetic.

    1. Try setting your swap file (page space) to 4095 initial and mimimum
    2. Run the game in XP emulation.
