Problems with Transit

I posted a thread awhile back about an entire section of my city cycling through abandonment.  I figured, what the hey, and obliterated the city to make room for a new one in hopes that things would be better...

Well they're not.  Now things are just plain wrong.  See exhibit one.  We can clearly see that this certain station is handling 1573 passengers.  All well and good.

Exhibit two.  Same station when queried instead of transit queried.  88 passengers.  Clearly there is an enormous discrepancy here.

And, just to give a broader view, exhibit three.  This image clearly shows several flaws in pathfinding, such as the car to the north and the majority of passengers from the subway station in the bottom right of the image.  If you follow the dark yellow arrow you can see that almost all passengers are making an entire circle of the subway network before continuing to the right, which is towards the industrial sector.

I currently have the latest version of NAM, June 2007, with perfect pathfinding enabled.  The Commuter Shuttle Service ordinance is also enabled.  Other mods that I use that may influence this problem are Anubis' suburban rail stations (I deleted all the ones in my city to no avail), SimGoober's passenger rail stations (Also, all deleted) and the Modern Metro Stations, which I have used for years with no problems.

I am really at a loss as to what is happening here.  Before I wipe my entire addon folder I thought I'd give the forums one more shot and see if anyone has some good advice

I get the same problem with rail. When I click on a rail line, it would say 456 passengers, but when I click the rail station, it might say 0. And this happened long before NAM 2007. I don't think its a NAM thing. Its irritating but I don't think it harms the city too much. I suggest keep everything if the city is in good working order. But I would like to know the answer to this problem too! Any takers?

It could be that 1573 passengers are going through that station, but only 88 are actually getting on or off at that station.

No, there's still a bug.  Note that the station is in the upper corner of the map.  Why would subway traffic be passing through it when there's no station farther away from the main line?

That explains the passenger discrepancy, but it does not explain why traffic is passing through it in the first place.  The pathfinding is wrong.

Looking at your pics, there are stations to the lower-right and lower-left, all on the same line. Passengers going between these stations would go through the one in the upper corner. That seems like a logical route, I don't see why you think the pathfinding is wrong.
