Region View

Is there anyway to take an entire region (which is subdivided into cities) and create one large city / region?  I want to modify the landscape of the entire region without working in multiple cities...

In a word- no.  There's no ability to merge cities in any manner.

I'm new to Simtropolis...If I download a design from the site, does it show up as a single region?  a single city?  a single city in a region?

The maps you download here are more or less ALWAYS regions. it isn't impossible to make a region into one city, except it HAS to be an empty map

And then the map will not be compressed, but you will only have one piece of the map... dunno if that made it any clearer for you :S

to put it like this; MAP = Region, the config file that follows with the map is the file that controls how many cities is on your map... f.ex if your config is all blue, it is all large maps. green = medium, red = small. And you can mix them up of course
