    Hi!

    About Phantom Funding Sliders Bug

I know, it came up a few times, and RippleJet answered the same to everyone, which It seems was enough.

    But not for me.

I have the same problem in one of my most precious city, with police funding. I think I have done the clean-out-all-the-police-stations procedure, but the problem haven't solved yet.

    So, what to do now?

Check all your civic buildings.  If any of them have unreasonable funding, they must be removed.  Also, make sure you have the Opera House Fix.

Yeah, N_O_Body is right. Check ALL civic buildings. My phantom slider issue was cured when I removed an elementary school. (It was one of the many problem lots that I had downloaded from the Maxis official site. Consider anything you may have downloaded from there as suspect for various problems.)

    Aham.

I'll do that, but what do you mean by unreasonable funding? and why do I need the opera house fix?

The opera house fix actually fixes a bug having to do with civic buildings.  Unreasonable funding is funding that is too small or way to large per student, for example.  If you skew the support units too much, the game goes nuts...  You know how it is with programs, Garbage In, Garbage Out.
