I need an invisible lot

    If you've read the tutorial on how to make your neighborhoods not dig into the side of hills, then you'd have seen the part where you put a grassy lot behind the zone. Well that's all fine and dandy, but the grassy lot is a completely different color than the actual grass. Is there a lot that's for that purpose. To act as sort of an anchor so you can do that without having miscolored ground?

    I would build that on my own but I'm not good at learning new things. It's not that I'm lazy or anything, but whatever I try usually seems to go down in flames, so...

    If you use the open grass area, you can then put trees on it, to your heart's content.

    Search the Stex for the matching grass modd. I can't remember everything it does but one thing it does do is it changes the Maxis grass textures in a some of the common parks and things to make the overall grass appearance more even and in my opinion, much nicer.
