Looking for these Buildings

Found these pictures and buildings in a CJ.  Anybody mind helping me find them?

1.  What mod was used to get your seawalls to look like this?

2. And your shoreline here looks great, how did you do that?

3.  How did you get your news ticker to show different headlines?

 

4. Now to the builidngs you have.  I have circled the ones that I would like, if they are available.  Are these buildings right here growable ones or did you get them off the STEX?

5. Really like this structure.  Seems to be a supertall.

6. Like the look of this building here.

7.  I actually found most of these already.   The green building with the attached white one is Shun Hing Square.  I actually though that the white building was the Atlantis condominiums in Miami, FL  but it is not.  I have been on the lookout for that one.  I have tried to search for the blue building with the square hole in it but cannot find it anywhere.  That is the only one I did not find in this group.

8.   Really like the tall gray building.  The blue one with the pyramid-like top looks like one of the liberty high-rises in Philadelphia cannot remember there names.  Is that short white one a Coke building?  Search the STEX but did not find any Coca-Cola high-rises.

9.  Love all the structures in this group.  The round one on the end looks like the center structure of the Renaissance Center in Detroit, MI or Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, GA.

10.  Again, this round one looks like the center building in the Renaissance Center in Detroit or Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta.  But all the ones circled look great.

11. Like all these buildings too.  One looks like CITIC and  another looks like a WTC structure.

12. One of these buildings looks like Bank of America in Atlanta, GA.  One (uncircled) looks like Columbia Seafirst Center in Seattle, WA but it looks blue in this photo.

13.  Don't know if these buildings are modeled after anything real but they look great. 

14.  The triangle shaped building looks like the tallest part of 700 Louisiana in Houston, TX.

15.   Don't know these either but they are nice.

16. Cannot quite make these out but they look great even from a distance.

Anyway, any help that any of you can give me in finding these buildings on STEX would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

----Hope this helps, but next time, just search the stex categories (on the left of the stex pages) it can take a while, but i found a ton of cool buildings that way

Most of those are right on the STEX man, ya just gotta do some work and look LOL.

you haven't even took the time to look throught the STEX! you just need to take a better look, not only you will find most of those buildings, but maybe even some more buildings that you like.

YEah Id really love to know hoow they did there news ticker like that? That would be an alsome realistic approach to building a city.

That tall one with the antenna in the second post by Daniel was made by Hdorriker

like half of the other ones were made by Dusktrooper or some other NDEX guy. Search the STEX for "NDEX", "DT", "EQUINOX" and you'll find most of those buildings

I see some im unfamiliar with myself, and ive been here a long time. Part of the problem I think is how the STEX search isnt very useful. But dont give up and im sure you find what you need. Another thing is we went through a site upgrade in 2006 that accidentally screwed up some of the data hosted here. We(the community as a whole) think most of the downloads that got lost have been restored or moved, but there's a chance some old forgotten stuff nobody remembers may be lost for good. Meaning of course some people with a lot of crap in their plugins folders may have buildings that are no longer available.

As for the news ticker,some buildings come with a modd that makes headlines show up when those towers are built. Nothing exciting, and it only happens with certain buildings

Anyways, if all else fails, search terms that are common in building names, like "Center", "Plaza", "Tower", "One", "Place", "Headquarters", and so on
