Distributing passengers evenly

I built a pure industrial city called South Docklands Forced Labor Camp. It's the only source of employment in the region right now and all the workers are coming from a single railroad connection on the west side of the city. The workers then get off at evenly distributed stations throughout the camp and either walk to work from there or use the subway to reach the far-side buildings. In total, there are around 40,000 commuters. I'm using the NAM, radical ordinances, and some custom stations I downloaded from the STEX.

This first pic shows basically how the workers are taken to the camp.

This second pic shows my problem: the trains have a tendency to dump all their passengers in the first three stations, overloading them severely. Even though I built rail lines so that the trains can directly go to all the later stations, the trains still like to overload the first few ones.

Is there a way to get the trains to disperse more evenly?

you might want to try altering your subway network a bit. from the image, it looks like you have subways connecting ALL of you zones. so maybe your sims are getting off at the first few rail stops and then taking the subway to their jobs at the furthers industrial blocks (the ones toward the top right of your image). you could try disconnecting the subway lines so that they only travel within one horizontal industrial block. that way you force your sims you use all your rail stops to get to work. in other words, make your sims take the path that you want by limiting their transportation options. you could try it for a few months of game time and see if it works.

You're right. After some testing, I discovered that the Sims try to get onto MT as soon as possible, even if it means overloading stations. It takes quite a high overload percentage before they realize that maybe they don't want to get on and off Taiwanese/Japanese style anymore.
