Help! Can't get zoning tool to work for Industry

Hello,

I was using the [Ctrl] feature to zone high dens Industrial like the comercial and residential, you know with the \/ \/ \/ at the street conection, but it is only zoning with out an assigned street connection.

Is there anything I can try to get this feature back?

Don't sweat it.  I zoning doesn't have arrows when you zone.  They develop as needed, automatically.

The only times that I've found it not to work is when I attempt to zone an area that cannot be zoned*, or when the area being zoned includes some kind of transportation (road, etc..) There have been times when the game took my money, but the zones didn't appear. But don't worry, just zone the exact same area with the same type of I, and it'll appear, free of charge.

*The easiest way to check is to cover the area you want to zone with I without pressing the ctrl key, and before releasing the mouse button. Any unzonable spots will be visible. Once you've confirmed that the area is zoneable, then press the control key, and release the mouse button.
